Well I sometimes do Monochrome Monday, Wordless Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, Flashback Friday, and of course Frog Friday, so I’ll tag along on this day’s blogging theme too.

    I was especially taken with the slender shadows cast by the branches of the dead tree on the left.

    • Those are nice contrasts to the strongly lit beams. At first I hesitated because this spot is mostly dead red pines killed by a pest, red pine scale, that has decimated the grove. But in the end I liked the effect of all those poles amongst the oaks.
