All right — I’ll confess that I giggled out loud when I first glimpsed this little guy. Then I laughed again when I realized ‘Fergus’ seemed familiar because a good friend has a dog named Fergus. Her Fergus is somewhat different: he’s a Great Pyrenees, and pretty darned impressive. The first time I met him, we were almost nose to nose, and I suspect I had an expression on my face much like Fergus-Frog’s.

    • They make quite a contrast in individuals, I’d say. I am installing shutters for a customer with a 160 pound great dane who is very protective and has to be kept away from visitors as he is just a tad aggressive. I imagine he would be nose to nose with us too. I tend to use Fergus as a name if I am giving one to a frog for the children’s book character. I have a friend who does a great job of mimicking a frog’s expression.
