    Now that’s an interesting photograph. I can almost picture that huge desert creature in the original Star Wars movies, with hovercraft above it, ready to drop their prisoners.

  4. I studied the photo, and I’d finally decided it was a closeup of fungus, and then realized you’ve tagged it that way. πŸ™‚

    My first thought was an apple tart that had stayed in the oven a little too long. Then, I considered a seed head, or a pine cone gnawed by a squirrel. Finally, I remembered who’d posted the photo and decided it had to be a fungus — and it was!

    I knew what it was right away, but then I know what you tend to photograph, so there’s a clue! You all have had some rain, so you get mushrooms. We are dry as a bone over here, too bad. This is a fun abstract!
