  1. Excellent. The shapes made me think the ice was part of a Chinese design.

I see a horse (of course). This would inspire Swarovski.

    • Is it “The Famous Mr. Ed”? 🙂

When I was a very young child we lived in a small town in northern California. There was a pasture nearby, with a palomino living in it. All of us children loved to play on and under this patient creature, and we were given to understand that he was Mr. Ed, retired. The location and the year made this seem possible, but who knows. He never spoke to us, come to think of it….

I see a cormorant, flying off to the left. The clarity of this ice never fails to impress me. I see you were gifted with some tiny rainbows in this one, too.

I love this little extraordinary sliver of ice, thank you for noticing it, and for braving the elements. For me there’s no need to see anything in it other than what it is- pure, natural, curvaceous beauty.
