09.19.2018 67% Moon

Not bad for the tiny SX-60.

I tried for Mars also, but it was small enough that the camera couldn’t pick it out for focus.

For anyone who noticed, I typo-ed the date but edited it after the fact.

    I got the same image with my SX60.

    I’ve done Mars before. It required shooting RAW and manual focus to infinity. It was a sphere with an orange hue. No detail of course. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Qfty7L3qomFM4eq77

  2. I don’t have a clue what the SX60 is other than it is a camera. I’ll hop over to Google and have a look. Sure seems to be a good one which proves the camera’s worth in this photo.
