Yup. That’s what I’m talkin’ about. I think I can hear the water lapping at the water’s edge. Nice.

The lapping water enhances the peace and quiet while at the shore, don’t you think? So much serenity while making these images. My brother and nephew had been with me during the previous days, but nephew and his fiance headed back to S.F. and brother slept in. I literally had the entire place to myself. Not another photographer within sight.

Yes, although not really stormy. We were leaving after I was done photographing and it did rain off and on during our trip home. No gully-washers though. 🙂

Wow, there’s some really nice color in this one! Acadia gave you some fireworks on your last day. I also like how the illuminated clouds are almost a mirror of the coastline. Another beautifully peaceful image, Steve.

The way the arc of the clouds and the rocks seem to frame the rest of the landscape is beautiful — almost an embrace. After seeing your photos from this area, I think I otter go there some day.

Yes, you otter. It was funny how this developed. I had looked at the cliffs a few times to see if they would be illuminated with warm light but the clouds really didn’t look like there was much going on then bang! Good thing I wasn’t looking in the other direction.

I’ve long wanted to visit Arcadia National Park. This is an excellent reason why.
