Unfortunately, he is us to some degree…more for some, less for others.
Hear that!!! Went vegan about 4 years ago no regrets only positive thoughts of peace.

I have to admit to not being vegan, Steve…or even vegetarian. But that does not stop me from being aware of the importance of conserving nature to the greatest extent possible for each of us.
Yes, awareness and being conscious of the fact that this amazing planet we live on is indeed precious.
And that is how it went and still goes. We have destroyed the world. That was brilliant and should be mandatory for all to see.

I sometimes think of us as the planet’s appendix, Yvonne. Although we spread the poisons rather than collect them. But the planet would never miss us were we to disappear.
I recognized the music as Grieg’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King” and kept wondering how far the royal metaphor would get carried. Then, almost at the end, the guy sat on a throne.
As for the ending, you may remember an episode from The Twilight Zone called “The Little People” that concluded in a similar way:
Yup, I was/am a big fan of The Twilight Zone…and Outer Limits…and enjoyed the repeated theme of irony that ran through many of the episodes.
We’re just so good at destroying stuff! It must be humans’ special talent.
An entertaining and sobering animated short. Excellent choice, Steve.
Oh, we do excel at destruction don’t we? Our planet is indeed an Eden and we have so much to be thankful for and to enjoy yet we worship currency of little real value and have made it our supreme being.
Sadly, that is the truth. There is always a chance we will turn it around and I think a lot of people are working very hard to make that happen.
