09.23.2015 Autumn Reflection

There is a spot along the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire that offers superb reflections of the brightly lit autumn foliage.  As well, the Kanc provides great views over much of its length and is well-visited in October.

Some have to start with straw, but you’ve spun autumn leaves into gold. I hope you didn’t have to hand over one of your cameras to Rumpelstiltskin!

I did a quick search of the place and am fascinated. If I’m ever up there again, this will be on my with list. Two questions, please: (1) what’s the name of the river and (2) how is the highway pronounced–does it rhyme with “thank a haggis,” “spank a Vegas,” or “bank ham with us?” Love the Native American names!
