09.11.2015 Frog on a Hot Tin Can

That has a familiar ring….

Frog-on-can-091015-700WebOn the way back in from retrieving the newspaper.  I have no idea why a green frog would want to perch on top of the bird seed can in our garage, but I’m looking forward to the newspaper’s arrival tomorrow.  🙂

I imagine it took considerable effort to get up there. He looks rather smug.

  5. With reference to your title, I think most people would rather look at Elizabeth Taylor than at this frog.

You may have been waiting for the paper, but this one clearly was waiting for you. Your reputation clearly has spread through the neighborhood, and he just wanted his photo taken.

And a fine-looking frog it is!

I’ve been surprised at the perches that they choose. We have quite a few tree frogs in northern MN and they can squeeze into the most unlikely places. One had chosen a tiny gap in a rolling screen door last week and flew out when we closed the screen. Who knew?
