06.14.2015 One more for the road

The yellow star grass road, that is.  I was actually looking for frostweed but it is still just a touch early…maybe tomorrow before work if it doesn’t rain.

Here’s another look at some anthers and a stigma.Yellow-Stargrass-061315-700WebI really like this flower.  The light was pretty soft and I am not sure whether I got rained or dripped upon.  There was a breeze and we had rain the night before, so maybe the trees were just shaking themselves dry.  Either way, it got a bit wet for a few minutes.

  1. Steve, this might be a simple pic but it’s a good one and exquisite. I’m glad that you continued with the photograph despite the brief shower from the trees or the sky. 🙂

Who knows what you’ll find if you keep following the yellow star-grass road? If you get a sudden urge to click your heels together, instead of clicking your shutter button — there’s no telling where you might land.
