05.08.2015 Friday morning Murphy

Quite often it takes a while to get Murphy to look at the camera.  This time I got one on the first try.  🙂

Murphy-050415-700WebHis age is showing and the lack of canines on his right side…our left…causes his cheek to droop a bit.  Still a handsome senior beagle boy.

I need to dust away the cobwebs in the back.

This looks like essence of Murphy. I’d have this one framed and on the wall in a minute. Who cares about cobwebs when you have someone like this in the house?

Great pic of Murphy! Our malamute Willow hates the camera, she deliberately turns away if one is pointed towards her. It usually takes quite a bit of work.

  4. Who sees cobwebs when there is that handsome Beagle to admire? 🙂

  6. hat cob webs. I’m sorry but the webs must be tiny. All I see is a very alert, content and, bright eyed Beagle. Steve, I like his doggy bed with the Beagle print. Snazzy and it looks to be a good bed when he’s not in his human’s bed.

  7. OOPs. That first sentence is supposed to have a “w” and read as What cob webs? Somehow, as I was editing, it left of its own accord. 🙂

He looks the picture of contentment. Lulu is impressed.

  9. The gaze of his eyes speaks volumes. Some say that dogs and cats can’t express deep emotion … I strongly disagree … and this picture is my proof. D

    • He certainly does know how to express hunger, David, as well as delight when we return home. I think we may have discussed non-human intelligence in the past and their ability to think and feel much more than the average person gives them credit.

He is such a handsome beagle. He looks so content and happy. I can’t see any cobwebs or dirt, just a beautiful, much loved dog 🙂

    • Murphy is a looker and it is unfortunate that he is so distrustful of other humans. Whenever we walk him and come across other people they gush over his adorable self but are unable to show him their admiration with getting nipped.
