The other day….actually several other days back in July, these clouds were the vanguard for an approaching storm.Rolling-Thunder-070214-600WebI was expecting Vigo the Carpathian to show up at any moment.   😈

I think you will like these clouds taken not too far northwest of me 7 years ago. Not by me.

  2. Great looking photo, Steve. The clouds look sort of evil, maybe, i watch cloud formations almost every day. Always on the lookout for possible storms.

  3. You’ve got a nice dynamism there.

He’s already there. See his scarf flying in the wind?

  5. Just Rod says:

Interesting formation Steve. Is there a colour version? It would be interesting to see.

  6. Andrew says:

It looks how my brain feels.

In one word – Moody. Steve, we’ve not had a spot of rain since mid-May. Not a cloud in the sky for weeks and weeks and weeks. I’m actually LONGING for rain now. A good storm would do me nicely!

    • Sometimes I have felt angry like those clouds, Lottie.

I do hope you get some sustained rain soon. We have some periods like that with just slight drizzles on occasion. Nothing that amounts to much and the farmers begin to suffer the consequences. Fortunately, that has not been the case here recently. Good luck.
