Some of you who get notification emails of new posts saw something that no longer exists. 🙂
Instead of that mistaken image, here is something a little more acceptable from this morning at Dean Brook. We’ve had two days of rain so the wildflowers are looking a little bedraggled, but I hope to find some tomorrow to share here.
I’m confused now. And I liked that mossy tree and rock.

It was not well focused, Anne. And then I over-processed it. It is now a candidate for a reshoot. I’m glad you liked it…I will be sure the reshoot gets posted here.

This is beautiful, Steve. I saw a magnificent waterfall in the mountains driving back from Bilbao last week and thought of you 😀

All that splashing over the rocks made me think of the water hopping about…splashing just doesn’t sound all that joyful. 🙂 The sound is wonderful and one of the reasons I am drawn to photograph it. I suppose I should use the video capabilities of my camera, but that just doesn’t appeal for some reason. It is quite easy to get lost in the cascading sounds as the water flows, tumbles and, yes, hops around. 🙂

I missed version one Steve but I’m quite happy enough with v2!

Version 1 is a totally different image although from almost the exact spot but in a different direction, Andrew. I will do a reshoot once the greenery sets in or we get a nice fog. Thanks, v.2 is good for me as well. 🙂

That, and the flow, were my inspirations for this image, Steve.

The water falling from several directions is appealing. Very interesting. There are no waterfalls in my neck of the woods. Well with the excepetion of water from the lake dam coming out of the spillway. And that is not pretty. Your photograph is pretty.

Thank you, Yvonne. I am sorry you don’t have any waterfalls near by. They are such a joy to visit in the hot summer….emitting a fine cooling spray. And the sound just drowns out the loudness of every day life. 🙂
