Have I mentioned my fondness for returning to favorite sites? 🙂 Sorry, bad humor. 🙂 Anyone who knows me well will tell you that I repeat myself to distraction.
I was a little late this morning and saw the nice clouds in the sky so rushed over to Owens Pond as the closest place I could think of to be on time. And at that I was a few minutes late. Getting to this spot was good cardio.I really liked the ground fog hanging over the water.
I did find one bloodroot flower to photograph and that will show up later. It is still a bit early, but I’ll go again tomorrow when I think more of the bloodroot will be open and maybe some of the purple trillium buds will pop later today. We’re getting there.
Liking your repeats Steve, but ‘nice clouds ‘ is an understatement, 🙂 isn’t nature a fantastic painter? … With a colour pallete beyond compare methinks, … xPenx

Thanks, Pen. Yes, I have been pretty fortunate with the skies lately. I don’t often get the nice clouds at daybreak, so I am taking advantage as much as possible.

This is another wow photo. The colors are magnificient, the reflections of the trees supberb, and the overall ambiance of the scene is candy for the eyes. This pic would also make a beautiful painting.

Thanks a lot, Yvonne. I like how you analyzed the qualities of the image which are what attracted me as well. Obviously, this is a view I like a lot. I’ve also shot from here during thick fog, but I don’t remember if I posted it here or not.

This is terrific Steve, as always. No you’re going to think I was copying you if you see my next blog, but your work certainly is inspirational! Happy spring, finally.

Thanks, Bernie. I don’t travel to exotic locations much, excepting Acadia, so it is really rewarding to find a nice spot like this that is so close to home.
