Introducing Murphy, dapper man about the house and sleepy hound.
Asymmetric ears are very in vogue right now. He is a fashion hound.
Asymmetric he is, Andrew…..with just a couple of teeth to hold his tongue in place, he often has it hanging out one side. He looks a bit younger in monochrome. 🙂
Aww!! Steve, he’s so gorgeous … Hello Murphy, lovely fella ‘n sleepyhead… 😀 He’s put a wide smile on my face, thanks for sharing…xPenx
I’m really happy this picture of Murphy made you smile, Pen. He’s such a sweet doggie. Unfortunately, he has a hard time with strangers, but we’ve almost got him to be welcoming…it all involves plenty of dried chicken and salmon bits. 🙂 When it comes to sleeping, Murph’s a pro.
I’m happy here,
just leave me be,
I was dreaming,
and still feel sleepy,
I love you loads
but just for now,
let me dream,
‘n entertain yourself somehow!! Yaaaawn!! 🙂
Sweet! Thanks, Pen. 🙂
He loves his blankie 😀
Yes, he most certainly does, Rod. Especially when he is under it. Pretty much every piece of furniture in the house is his bed and all have either a blankie or a towel for his comfort. Not too spoilt, he is. 🙂
Its about time we get to see that handsome Beagle. Murphy looks like a sweetheart of a dog. And, he is the very best kind. Adopted as a rescue with love by you and Mary Beth.
He is a dude, Yvonne. Everyone who meets him says the same thing. We are so happy we have finally figured out how to get him to be civil with visitors. At his age we are not concerned with bribing him…if it works then we are happy. He is showered with love. 🙂
Those eyes! I can quite see why he stole your heart. I’m so pleased to see a picture of Murphy. I hope that you shared that link of the very cunning beagle with him? I think he’d be most impressed 😀
Thanks, Lottie. Murphy doesn’t like to see himself. We’ve tried having him look in a mirror while one of us holds him so he can see us and him in the reflection but he doesn’t care to look. He also isn’t interested in dogs or howling wolves on the television. Doesn’t read either…we just don’t know what to do. Maybe “Confuse a cat” has a service for dogs? 🙂
Now this guy has the right idea!
That he does, Phil.
What a handsome fellow!
Thank you on behalf of the Murph.
so cute!!!! ❤ 🙂
Indeed he is, Sandra. I passed along your compliment. 🙂
Great image and subject Steve, looks like he is quite content !!
Thanks, Bernie. Like all hounds, Murphy excels at relaxation.
Awww he’s gorgeous!
Thanks, Lucy. He is a love and a great companion.
