04.03.2011 Doubletop from Stump Pond

Last fall was a bit disappointing for foliage, but there was some around in Northern Maine.  While waiting for Moose to show up, I saw Doubletop and got this shot under a somewhat boring sky.  We photographers are a bit jaded, I’d say.  People get so excited about a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky.  Not us though…we love nice big puffy clouds.

Well you may not have had the clouds but you sure do have some nice tree reflections in the water. Nice shot.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting Gary. Some nice work with HDR Efex on your blog.

  3. I’ve been to the top of this mountain, but there were too many clouds that day. In fact, it was the edge of hurricane remnants that entirely blocked my view. I really had no idea it looked like this. Great shot.
