03.28.2011 Gunn Falls Abstract

It will be a bit yet before getting a view of a whole waterfall will yield a pleasing image.  Dried leaves and lots of mud still.  But Gunn  Falls is a nice waterfall with lots of opportunities.  In the spring there are loads of wildflowers on the nearby ledges and the trees offer a pleasant green canopy for the two different falls located here.  Always a nice spot to visit…even in the dead of winter.

So here’s a little abstract B&W of a part of Gunn Falls with some nice lines in the cascading water.

Very nice. Love the black and white. Creates a real strong graphic. A real sense of movement and power.

this is a very impressive water flow pic. I would say more like an abstract. Looks great in B&W.
